Follow a PDF citation to the original words

A combined PDF can keep a report and its evidence together. Eligible citations in the report become internal links to the corresponding transcript paragraphs included in that PDF. The reader can jump to the relevant passage without opening the Notera app.

Prepare a linked export

  1. Generate or review a report whose citations refer to the selected meeting or collection's source paragraphs.
  2. Open PDF Export Preview.
  3. Include the corresponding transcript chapter as well as the report chapters.
  4. Inspect the preview and choose whether to show paragraph source numbers. This changes printed numbering; resolved report citations remain clickable in either state. The available source bindings determine which citations can become links.
  5. Save the combined PDF and open it in a reader that supports PDF internal links.

Follow and verify

Click or tap an eligible source citation. The PDF reader navigates to the matching transcript paragraph. Read the surrounding passage to judge whether it supports the conclusion. Use your reader's previous-view command, when available, to return to the report. Chapter bookmarks provide another route through the document.

## Understand the boundaries

These are links inside the exported PDF. They do not play the original audio, require a network connection, or synchronize with another installation. App-based citation navigation is a separate reading workflow inside Notera.

If a source transcript is excluded or a source identity cannot be resolved, the export may not contain the corresponding link. Hiding paragraph source numbers does not disable resolved citation links. A PDF reader can also present link interaction differently. Check the saved document, not just the presence of blue or numbered text.

Share a traceable document

Before sharing, verify the report wording, linked source passages, included comments and references, and license branding. The PDF contains the selected exported material; choose its contents with the intended readers in mind.
